Speaker: Yong Deng. Traditional Chinese medicine has a unique way of diagnosing and treating allergic rhinitis or hay fever. Pattern differentiations (such as wind-cold, wind-heat, etc) are described, with appropriate Chinese herbal formulas. Dr. Deng is a very enthusiastic and vivacious speaker, but some may have trouble understanding everything he says on the tape, due to his accented English. His detailed article in the proceedings book may help to understand the topics covered. (see Southwest Conference 2002 Proceedings).
