Speaker: Kenneth Proefrock. This talk encourages the reconciliation of ancient traditions with modern science. Ancient cultures of Egypt, India and the Americas offered techniques of diagnosis and prescribing which are very different from modern practice. A timeless Truth can emerge from an examination of these traditions, and this talk aims to describe it. The practice of modern botanical medicine is at a crossroads- making it necessary to reconcile the vast database of the preratioinal world with the newer understandings provided by a rational, scientific understanding of the human organism. Where do we go from here?
