We also discuss causes and treatments for hirsutism, or abnormal hair growth on the face and body. Topical botanicals, herbal formulas and nutritional support form the backbone of the recommended treatments. Standard pharmaceutical treatment of male pattern baldness with finasteride and minoxidil are also evaluated.
