Speaker: Jillian Stansbury, ND. With the opiate epidemic being a glaring example of how NOT to manage chronic and acute pain, this session explores what tools herbalists possess to help comfort and palliate acutely painful conditions effectively. Drawing from both folklore and modern research, this class offers instruction on preparing topical applications to manage pain. The last 15 minutes of the class time will be reserved for participants to share their own tools for effective pain management.
This recording is also included in the bundled series: Pain and Inflammation Education for Clinicians.
